Primary Scope:

CyBourn was contracted to provide Managed Detection and Response services incorporating all sites and locations of the IT Environment. This included deploying our EDR toolkit on all of Bernstein Companies’ endpoints and servers and integrating all their available security tools, such as IDS, antimalware, DNS security, e-mail security, VPN, and cloud services such as Azure Active Directory and Office 365.

During the onboarding process, we first made every attempt to harden Bernstein Companies environment and ensure that they have enough visibility over the network.

As part of the service, CyBourn provided 24/7 Extended Detection and Response Services incorporating all sites and locations of Bernstein Companies’ IT Environment. This enabled Bernstein Companies to quickly identify and respond to any potential security incidents, minimizing the impact of any potential attacks. By deploying their EDR toolkit and integrating all available security tools, CyBourn was able to provide a complete view of the network, improving the overall security posture and reducing the risks of targeted spear phishing attacks, PII data leaks, and unauthorized access due to loss of credentials.
